**The Opportunity**

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on transport business cases as well as a range of high-profile projects in economic development, regeneration, economic analysis, land use /housing and environmental economics for a range of public and private sector clients. You will help influence our clients and stakeholders to ensure that we build a prosperous, low carbon, more equitable future, in line with the Arup values and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Your role will involve undertaking research and analysis as part of a project team and keep up to date with relevant government guidance (including HMT Green Book), along with supporting project and bid teams to deliver high quality outputs and directly prepare bids, client submissions, and presentations.

Leading delivery of good quality work on time and within budget, managing client relationships on projects, ensuring projects are delivered within the parameters of the Arup Management System. The role can be based across various locations in the UK with supporting projects nationally internationally.

**Is this role right for you?**

We are looking for people that can advise clients and oversee projects, with a range of contacts across government or industry, and a real passion for thought leadership and future thinking.

You will have good interpersonal skills and a wide network, and a track record of business and/or project development having previously worked in consultancy, government or think tanks. You will be comfortable working with clients and stakeholders in the public, private, and community sectors, and you will be passionate about bringing together ideas and resources across different organisations. You will also have a desire and motivation to develop your technical expertise and skills and help share them across the broader team.

We are seeking the following skills and experience:

- Work on transport business cases as well as a range of high-profile projects in economic development, regeneration, economic analysis, land use /housing and environmental economics for a range of public and private sector clients.
- Support project and bid teams to deliver high quality outputs and directly prepare bids, client submissions, and presentations.
- Think creatively and be curious about our client’s needs and current urban and transport challenges
- Support delivery of good quality work on time and within budget, managing client relationships on projects, ensuring projects are delivered within the parameters of the Arup Management System.
- Undertake research and analysis as part of a project team and keep up to date with relevant government guidance (including HMT Green Book)
- Help to win work, and to widen our brief.
- Meet clients and collaborators, help with business development and work-winning
- Help influence our clients and stakeholders to ensure that we build a prosperous, low carbon, more equitable future, in line with the Arup values and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
