As an Event Safety Steward, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting with crowd management at events across the U.K. at some of the most well-known and iconic venues, festivals and other events.
- Directing attendees to key areas and helping to restrict access to key areas of the event space.
- Helping members of the public access and enjoy these events through good customer service skills.
- Act as a first point of contact for attendees to raise any concerns, queries or questions.
- Be a vigilant and active part of the security operation to ensure that the event is protected from criminal and/or terrorist activity.
Please note that this position requires the individual to be willing to travel across the U.K. over the summer period and will involve working away for several consecutive days, generally on a weekend. This usually entails camping on event sites where food and basic amenities are provided.
An SIA Licence is not required for this role, but a qualification in Level 2 Spectator Safety is desirable.
Victor One Risk Management operates a Train To Work Scheme, meaning that individuals who wish to join our ranks as a Security Officer will be put through the necessary training to be able to join our ranks as an SIA Licensed Officer at the close of the season (as part of our temp to perm policy).

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £12.82 per hour
Expected hours: 12 - 48 per week
