We are currently recruiting for a full time, permanent Patient Flow Assistant based in Harrogate District Hospital.

Working within a hospital setting and as part of a team, the post holder will provide a friendly, efficient and patient focused reception and administration service to Patient Transport Service users and other stakeholders. Key to the role is the provision of an appropriate level of customer support that engenders customer satisfaction and confidence in the Trust.

Deal promptly, professionally and efficiently with all telephone calls to the patient reception centre.

Acknowledge, as soon as possible, all visitors to the patient reception centre and afford them courtesy at all times.

Be responsible for dealing with general enquiries and provide general clerical support.

Ensure own compliance with regard to mandatory training and requirements.

Ensure own compliance with current health and safety legislation.

Identify, make safe and/or report areas of risk.

Promote/implement safe working practices in particular comply with the Trusts Health and Safety at Work Policy.
