Production Technician

**Production Technician - Based in Diss, Norfolk - £20,000-£28,000 Per Annum DOE - Permanent**

**Working Hours**:
6.00am - 2.00pm and 2.00pm - 10.00pm on rotational shifts

Monday to Friday

**Salary**:
£20,000-£28,000 Per Annum DOE

**Main duties, but not limited to**:

- Work strictly in accordance with the tool setting Work Instruction, number WI.25. This includes efficient and effective job change preparation, tool condition monitoring and maintenance.
- Starting a machine from pre-defined parameters, carrying out quality checks including first off submission.
- Provide cover for operator and material handler duties as and when required.
- Start up and shut down injection moulding processes.
- Maintain good housekeeping in whichever duty you are performing.
- Regularly communicate with your manager to ensure the smooth running of the department.
- Undertake other tasks as required by the company or your manager.
- Use all equipment, plant, machinery and services with respect and immediately report any faults or repairs needed to the relevant person for action.

**Key requirements**:

- Some experience in moulding would be desirable.
- Be able to think on own initiative and have good work ethic.
- Machinery knowledge is desirable to help keep machines in working order.
- Must be flexible to cover holidays and sickness.
