Bim Coordinator

An opportunity has arisen to work within our BIM and Digital team and ensure delivery on a growing number of high-profile projects throughout the RIBA design stages as a BIM Coordinator.

We are an Architecture Practice with ambition and strong delivery skills. A like-minded, enthusiastic, and experienced individual is required to work on continuing to develop our skills in BIM implementation across several large-scale Data Centre projects.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for someone to help lead an Information Management team on the coordination of project deliverables through and build upon our team growth, whilst managing delivery on several significant commissions.

**Duties will include;**
- Supporting project teams in establishing and executing a project modelling strategy.
- Supporting project teams with content development and managing content across the practice.
- Supporting teams with general design coordination including clash detection
- Providing technical support to project teams
- Leading our journey to becoming a ISO 19650 certified Architecture Practice.
- Identifying training requirements and preparing training materials
- Identifying opportunities to optimise existing workflows and implement new ones.
- Developing our BIM standards, templates and procedures
- Conducting project audits and lessons learned workshops with project teams
- Supporting clients in their journey of adopting BIM on current and future projects.
- Developing, implementing, and supporting BIM Documentation, Processes and Protocols for a variety of customers and projects.
- Running Information Management projects for a variety of clients.
- Setting up projects and BEPs.
- Using either BIM360 or Navisworks for clash detection & Data checking.
- Exporting & federating COBie spreadsheets for construction projects.
- Attending and run client meetings, BIM Meetings and Design and Coordination Meetings.
- Setting up and managing CDEs
- Being able to work to deadlines under own supervision.
- Supporting the business development team with prospects including technical qualification, preparation, scope of works and delivery of effective demonstrations and technical presentations.
- Must be enthusiastic about BIM and Digital Construction.
- You will be expected to have at least 3+ years’ experience working in an Information manager’s role (Must)
- Proactive team member, willing to learn and contribute to the wider team.
- Will have excellent organisational skills.
- Must be experienced in defining and delivering working procedures.
- Will have excellent communication skills.
- Must be experienced in using IFC.
- Must have experience developing useful bespoke Dynamo scripts
- Must have proven experience in a PIM role and delivering projects with COBie.
- Must be familiar with relevant BIM and UK building standards, including ISO 19650 and the UK BIM Framework
- Will come from an Architectural or Construction background and understand why Information Management through the use of BIM for an asset lifecycle is critical.
- Must have ability to work as part of a self-motivated team
- Will have ambition and enthusiasm to further one’s career
- Must have ability to coordinate with clients, contractors and digital consultants
- Will be able to multitask across a range of projects at different scales and complexity
- Will have desire to progress efficiencies, standards, management, and the use of BIM within the practice.

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£50,022.00 per year
