The Best Connection is working on behalf of our client who is a well-known Logistics company based in Washington.
They now have a requirement for a **Traffic Planner **to join a team of dedicated transport professionals. This role is critical to the smooth running of the transport department and is very varied.
Duties will include:
- Route Planning
- Driver briefing and de-briefing
- Booking in loads which can change daily and can also be same day requirements
- Arranging servicing of vehicles and breakdowns
- Liaise with the Customer Services Team to plan the routes to sites throughout the UK
- Overseeing the daily duties of the drivers
- Must be competent using Microsoft Excel
Desirable (but not essential) requirements:
- FLT licence
- C+E (Class 1) licence
**Salary**:
- £30,000 per annum
Hours of work:
- 06.00am & 18.00pm
- 4 on / 4 off.
Immediate start date. The role is being offered on a permanent basis.
**Benefits & Requirements**:
- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
