**Production Planning Administrator - Willenhall - up to £25k**

My client is a very successful manufacturing company looking to recruit a proven Production Administrator to join their team. A working knowledge of tube production / manufacturing would be a distinct advantage.

The post includes serving as the key link between production and sales team, you will be organising a live production schedule for product manufacture. The main purpose is to ensure that the orders are manufactured and delivered within the correct time frame, whilst ensuring that the tube mill has the correct amount of customer specific steel to manufacture those orders.

The role will include the collation of sales orders and evaluation of raw material stock levels to manufacture tube in line with the required delivery dates.

A strong working relationship must be formed with the Production and Quality team to understand manufacturing capabilities against customer specifications.

In addition to this, the role will work closely with the Sales team to ascertain customer specific demands and requirements.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for administrating a live production schedule, consisting of live orders and stock items to be manufactured throughout the working week.
- Closely working with the sales team to prioritize orders for manufacture.
- Actively reviewing Coil stock levels and allocating stock for product manufacture.
- Plan and organise the manufacturing workload to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Responsive to changes in customer live orders and customer stock reservations.
- Responsible for the administration of the Production Plan.
- Raising Orders, Despatch notes and Collection Notes for materials.
- Use historic data to forecast production efficiency and communicate this information to the transport department.
- Communicates with production supervisors and managers to ensure everyone knows what production goals need to be achieved.
- Checking suitability of slit coil to suit customer requirement.
- Filing orders and delivery notes.
- Any other tasks that are deemed suitable by your line manager.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Working in an office environment with experience of following procedures for data input, retrieval and documentation control.
- Be computer literate and have a good level of Excel, Word and Outlook skills.
- Organised approach to work.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Positive attitude and comfortable dealing with all key stakeholders.

**Hours**:8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 4.30pm Fridays.
