Service Desk Engineer

Leading UK company within the banking industry are seeking an experienced **Service Desk Engineer** to assist with BAU support deskside and remote. You will support the Serice Desk team in 2nd line support to onsite and remote staff across their UK and International banking division. This position would be perfect for someonewith excellent Customer Service and troubleshooting skills.
**THE REQUIREMENTS**:
- Experience in a Service Desk, Desktop Support, 2nd Line Support or similar.
- Full understanding of ITIL framework and ITIL SLA's.
- Proficient in Windows 10 with understand of Windows 11 an ideal.
- Remote Access / Mobility & VPN technologies.
- Citrix ICA clients administration & troubleshooting.
- iPhone & iPad configuration & support an ideal.
- Full UK Right to Work; no sponsorship options available.
**THE OVERVIEW**:
- Up to £40k p.a depending on experience
- Fulltime permanent position.
- Fully onsite position, no hybrid options.
- Location: Doncaster
- 6% pension contribution.
- Private healthcare.
**THE ROLE**:
- BAU 2nd line support to desk-side and remote users.
- Resolve technical incidents as allocated and escalated.
- Ensure SLA targets are achieved and working to reduce SLA target times.
- Providing excellent customer service to all users at all times.
- Managing customer expectation by ensuring the user is kept up to date on the status of tickets.
