Highly Specialist Dietitian

This is a NEW and exciting opportunity to come and join Salford Community Stroke and Neuro Team as a part time highly specialist B7 Dietitian.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to steer and develop the Dietetic service in the team, alongside our strong senior leadership team. We are a hugely supportive team and place great emphasis on staff wellbeing to enable you to be at your best in work.

We are a wide MDT comprising of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapist, Dietitian, Nurses, Psychologists, Therapy Instructors/ Senior Assistants, Social Work, Assistant Practitioners and expert Administrative support.

**Main duties of the job**:
We are looking for a motivated, dedicated and innovative individual to join our specialist service. You will have an extensive and varied background of neurology experience, ideally in Acute and Community, and Stroke and Neuro.

**We are looking for**:
Experience mainly in Stroke and Neurorehab in community setting but ideally with some Acute exposure
Good level of post graduate training in area of speciality
Supervision of registered Dietitians and support workforce experience
Established experience of providing rich student placements as Clinical Educator
Contribute to team development in own profession and wider MDT.
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Highly effective communication
Successful team player
Ability to demonstrate drive and initiative
Experience of service improvement projects
Experience of audit and Quality Improvement methodology
IT skills applicable to the role
Ability to cover the geographical footprint in Salford (this does not include public transport
