**Warehouse Operative**

**Licence requirement**: Counterbalance licence and experience, Reach truck licence and experience preferred although conversion or refresher training can be given if expired.

**Duties**: Working within a busy production company within the warehouse. Duties include but are not limited to;
- Loading and unloading lorries
- Supplying on site internal customers
- Stock movement updates via in house software handheld tablets
- Ensuing paperwork is fully completed
- Highlighting any discrepancies
- Communicating with the print and production areas when needed
- Moving product around in a safe and productive manner
- Following all health and safety guidelines, best practices and working within a food and hygiene monitored company

**Person Specification**

**Qualifications, Licences and Authorisations Required**:
Counterbalance Licence refreshed/taken within 3 years

**Previous Skills, Experience and Training Required**:
Excellent FLT skills

Good warehousing experience

Basic computer skills

**Personal Protective Equipment Required**: Safety Boots and high viz must be worn upon arrival.

**Personal Protective Equipment Provided**: Any other PPE required, gloves, ear defenders etc please ask

**Due care and attention must be taken as vehicles, lorries and FLTs are all in operation. Safe walk ways must be used, full PPE when on site and mobile phone usage is not permitted in the warehouse, production or print areas. Eating and drinking only permitted in authorised areas.**

**Remuneration & Benefits**

**Actual Rate of Pay**: £11.50 changing to £12.10 after probation period.

**Number of Annual Leave Days**: 25 + Bank holidays

**Pay Periods**: Monthly

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
