Caretaker/maintenance - Zero Hours Contract

One of the UK’s leading suppliers of two-way radios, Apex Radio Systems Ltd, is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join their team in a caretaker/maintenance role. Due to the flexibility of the role, this is initially being offered on a zero hours basis.

**Overall Objectives**:

- To carry out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs to the Gateshead & Newcastle offices.
- To assist in the preparation of a new office in Gateshead with internal and external redecoration and refurbishment.
- To assist in the relocation of stock and business equipment between our Newcastle & Gateshead offices.
- To book outside contractors for major repair work.
- To make sure heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly.
- To check doors and windows are locked when the building is not in use.
- To assist in the ordering of cleaning materials, new equipment and furniture as required.
