**Test Engineer - Cheshire - £42,000 - Recruitment**

In a nutshell, you’ll work in a small but experienced team who have a real goal to keep on growing and improve the business. You’ll work closely with key decision makers which means you’ll be able to influence decisions and bring new ideas to the table.You’ll be passionate, have an eye for detail and obviously be a complete self-starter. Its key that you have a passion for technology and the web, someone that thrives off working on the latest designs but also has respect for mature technologies that theystill use.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Analysing user stories and/use cases/requirements to translate into functional tests.
- Collaborating closely with the rest of the team as well as other departments
- Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, Regression and User Interface)
- Implement quality testing processes
- Design and develop automation scripts when needed
- Detect, track and report software defects and inconsistencies
- Provide support and documentation

**Key Requirements**
- Experience with C# and Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL
- Knowledge of CI/CD using Azure DevOps or similar
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience in data analysis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with mínimal supervision
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- ISEB or ISTQB Qualifications is desirable
