**JOB - Controls Engineer**
**LOCATION - Gloucestershire **
**TERM - Permanent**
**SALARY - £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience**
My client designs, engineers and manufactures bespoke automation, controls and robotics systems for a global client base. They are looking for a Controls Engineer to join their team in Gloucestershire on a permanent basis.
**The Controls Engineer will ideally have the following attributes**:

- Experienced with Industrial Control Systems
- PLC programming expertise
- Knowledge of Siemens and/or Allen Bradley PLCs would be beneficial
- Background in manufacture would be ideal but not essential
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

**The Controls Engineer role will involve**:

- Programming PLC/Touch Screen/Network/SCADA systems
- Designing control panels from scratch
- Working with Panel Builders to ensure design specifications are met
- Installation and commissioning
- Fault-finding on electrical systems
- Managing projects and client relationships
- Occasional travel to customer sites, sometimes abroad
