As a Senior Support Worker, you will join a a dedicated, resilient, enthusiastic team providing support to the wonderful Adam*. You would be part of a friendly team that aims to deliver** support that is personalised** to the unique circumstances and needs of the person we are supporting.

Adam who is in his 20s lead a happy and meaningful life within his own home in Salford**. The team for Adam would be part of the Specialist Supporting living service.**

***On a good day, Adam likes going on walks and to the local shops. He also would like you to support him in visiting the swimming pool and ride supported bikes. He requires a team of familiar and friendly staff around him to make him feel safe and re-assured..

**So what will you be doing?**

You will mentor and train fellow Support Workers.

You'll be assisting with a wide range of activities from everyday living needs and 'must dos' (such as cooking and cleaning, shopping and baking and general house maintenance), through to the lighter side of life becoming involved with their hobbies and interests.

You will be working 37.5 hours a week on a rota, including days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays and sleep-ins. You will also take on on call duties outside of working hours.

**About you**

You will have experience of supporting vulnerable people, ideally those with a learning disability.

You'll be someone who can see the bigger picture and have the visionary skill to be able to help develop the service further.

You will need to be flexible and organised, with a positive approach. Attention to detail skills would also be beneficial.

You must be a driver with a manual licence, as you will be driving service vehicles.
