A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic Packer who wants to join a successful manufacturing business and learn new skills. You would be joining a small and friendly team that works closely with the production department.

Responsibilities will include:

- Picking and checking customer orders
- Preparing and packing customer orders
- Using computer terminal to input data, print labels and despatch orders
- Prepare, pack and wrap items for couriers including fragile products
- Place picked and packed orders in the appropriate despatch locations
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area at all times

Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage but not essential. You will be required to follow set instructions in order to produce a packaged product accurately and to the correct quality standards. You will need to be flexible in your approach to work, a team player with excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate a good ability to listen to and implement instructions. You must also be capable of working under your own initiative once training has been provided. Must be willing to work any overtime when needed, will also be used in other departments if required.

Standard working hours are between 8.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Thursday with an early finish on Friday at 4.00pm.

**Salary**: £9.59-£10.00 per hour
