Customer Service Assistant - Front of House

Your role will consist of helping and advising customers on leisure activities, bookings and all things customer related.

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager of the centre, you will need a “can do” approach and a willingness to learn and mature on the job.

Salary - £9.88

Hours: 27.5 a week (3 month contract)

Duties and responsibilities
- Run safe and clean facilities, taking care of the resources which are needed to deliver the services on offer
- Pitch in as needed to help your centre, your manager, your colleagues
- Promote our values and expectations
- Plan your tasks, deliver great service standards
- Support your colleagues
- Commit to your own development
- Take part in company training programmes
- Provide feedback so we can continuously improve
- Respect the privacy rights of customers and colleagues
- Take responsibility for your performance
- Take an active interest in the company and your centre
- Follow company policies, procedures and systems
- Follow the emergency response plan

Skills, qualities and experience
- Self management
- Catering & leisure experience an advantage
- Contribute positively to the workings of a team
- Dealing directly with customers
- Have a flexible approach to work (unsociable hours including weekends and Bank Holidays)
- Good communication skills.

Desirable:

- Health and Safety matters with regard to staff and the general public.
- To be able to maintain high levels of concentration in a humid environment

Ability to speak Welsh (Welsh centres only).
