This is a key role within the business with the opportunity for further personal and professional development. You will be part of a small team who have all been employed at Castle Stuart for a number of years due to the strong team ethic, supportive and positive atmosphere. The day to day menu is golfers fare, with as much locally sourced ingredients as possible, served in a timely fashion.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

- Providing outstanding customer service to golfers, ensuring they have a world class golf experience.
- Handling/serving food and beverages.
- Assisting and supporting the Restaurant Manager in the day to day running of the restaurant.
- Going above and beyond your duties where appropriate and being observant to make sure that there are no unattended guests.
- The opening or closing of the clubhouse
- Cashing and locking up at end of the day, a couple days per week.
- Preparing and continuous monitoring of the bar and clubhouse environment.
- Liaising closely with chefs, kitchen staff and starter pavilion staff.

**Working Hours**
- The successful applicant will work 5 days per week with 2 days off. Annualised hours (3 months off fully paid in Winter with hours made up during the season).
- Clubhouse opening hours depend on bookings on the day, but generally hours of clubhouse operation are from 7am until 9.00pm with occasional corporate dinners or special events until 10:00/10:30pm.
- You would work 5 straight shifts, with no regular or scheduled split shifts.
- Flexible working hours with both morning or dinner shifts available weekly.
- Applicants must be available to work weekends as required.

**Person Specification**
- Able to work in both a fast pace environment and also use initiative to keep busy during quieter periods.
- Able to communicate effectively with team members, management, and visiting guests from around the world.
- Ability to take responsibility in the absence of the Restaurant Manager and to lead and motivate others.
- Well-presented and articulate with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt and work under pressure.
- Flexibility to support the needs of the seasonal business.
