**About the role**:

- To maintain and repair all process equipment and buildings to a high standard to achieve the highest level of Safety, performance, reliability and product quality
- To achieve a good understanding of Production processes
- Ability to diagnose process machinery faults
- To diagnose faults in all machinery and auxiliary components
- Use of Computerized Maintenance Management System to keep records of system up to date with accurate work summaries.
- To reduce and, where possible, eliminate plant failures
- To fill in Maintenance records correctly and keep them up to date
- Fast, efficient diagnosis and repair of plant

**Required skills**:

- Completion of recognized apprenticeship scheme
- Relevant B.T.E.C/City and Guilds qualifications
- Other Recognised Engineering Qualifications
