This role is:

- **NIGHTS - 19:00 to 07:00 working 4 nights, including weekends, 4 on 4 off.**

**Being a British National, you must have a valid SC Clearance or be willing to go through the rigorous checks required to obtain such a licence to work on this site due to the nature of the site.**

**How you will make an impact as a Security Officer**:

- Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site
- Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV
- Conduct external and internal security patrols
- Maintain all logbooks and records
- Provide support, guidance, and information to all staff, visitors, and contractors whilst ensuring the safeguarding of the premises
- Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Display an outstanding level of customer service
- Identify opportunities for improving practices and processes
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Undertake any other duties as requested by Management

**Essential Skills** **What you will bring to be a Security Officer**:

- **Right to work in the UK and have a five-year checkable employment history**:

- **Security Cleared or be willing to go through the rigorous checks**:

- **SIA licence**:

- **First Aid trained or be willing to complete a course**:

- Confident, articulate and communicate well both orally and in written language
- Committed and reliable
- Able to negotiate and deal with sensitive and confidential matters with tact and discretion
- Computer literate
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team

**Desirable Skills**:

- CCTV licence
- Driving Licence with use of own vehicle would be beneficial
