***About the role**

We have an opportunity for experienced Engineers to be part of Ocado history, joining us at our newest operational Customer Fulfilment Centre. You will play a pivotal role in keeping our operation running, you'll be working on state-of-the-art technology, being the principal point of contact for any critical technical issues, as well as keeping the operation running smoothly through proactive improvement works and maintenance activity. You will be working on a range of incredible machinery.

On a day-to-day basis you will be reacting to mechanical and electrical MHE breakdowns, analysing faults and identifying solutions, proactively improving machine reliability, supporting on project work to optimise efficiency, sharing your knowledge and experience with the wider team, and taking personal responsibility for your own health and safety whilst at work.

You will work a shift pattern to support our 24/7 operation, consisting of 12 hour shifts across days, nights and weekends.

***About you**

You are a highly competent Engineer with a passion for career development. Ideally, you have come from an FMCG background, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You are computer literate, keen to learn new skills, and you take a creative approach to problem-solving. Health and safety is a top priority for you, and you are able to work safely at height.

You have at least a Level 3 qualification or a relevant Engineering degree, and you have a strong technical understanding of automation hardware and software, along with good working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and conveyor systems.
