**Job Title: Senior Accounts Payable**

**Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 09:00 to 17:30 - 37.5 hours per week**

**Location: Bury St Edmunds**

**Immediate start**

**Your primary responsibilities will include**:

- Support Soft Services supervisor overseeing the accounts payables ledgers. (Security, Cleaning, Catering, Corporate and Integrated Solutions).
- Direct the day-to-day activities of outsourced accounts payable administrators.
- Improve the processes of the soft services ledgers bringing them all in line with the best practice for processing, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers across the ledgers.
- Process Supplier payments weekly, ensuring all due payables are included.
- Build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, becoming a point of contact for the resolution of AP issues.
- Review purchase order and invoice workflows.
- Support running management reports on statement reconciliations, supplier ledger debit balances, payments falling out of terms and invoices awaiting approval.
- Create a payment list for soft services ledgers, ensuring payments are processed and approved in a timely manner.

- Highly competent in Excel.
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and manage own workload and the workload of the team.
- Confident communicator, with the ability to articulate financial information and analysis to stakeholders.
- Independent thinker, keen problem solver with a ‘can do’ attitude.
