**NodeJS Backend Developer - Hybrid (80 % Remote) - Manchester - Inside IR35 - £550 per day - 6 Months**

DataBuzz are recruiting a NodeJS Backend Developer on behalf of a prestigious organisation.

As a NodeJS Backend Developer, you will be writing Code following best practices: secure, performant, scalable, inline with the standards and well documented.

As a NodeJS Backend Developer, you will be working as part of an internal multidisciplinary product team.

**Essential skills and experience**
- Experience in developing REST APIs using NodeJS
- Experience in developing and consuming relational databases using tools such as PostgreSQL and MySQL
- Experience in developing and consuming NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- Experience in performing Quality and Security tested before deployment
- Able to use strict content security policies and guard against common OWASP attacks.
- Experience in using Git
- Experience in developing REST APIs with NodeJS 16+
- Familiar with working with a CI/CD pipeline such as GitLab
- Familiar with consuming onward REST APIs
- Experience in developing for a Microservices infrastructure
- Experience with Continuous Integration using the central GitLab source control and CI Platform
- Experience in developing APIs to meet the needs of the service, process and data
- Strong experience of using NodeJS

**Nice-to-have skills and experience;**
- Familiar with building APIs that will be consumed by Mobile Apps
- Experience with AWS Lambda (serverless funcitons) and AWS API gateway
- Familiar with deployment to AWS infrastructure
