Well known retail business based in the Wythenshawe area requires a Reporting & Stock Admin Assistant for their growing. This role will offer training and development to the right person as my client is very much promoting from within.
This role is responsible for assisting in the preparation of the branch trading accounts, accounting & reporting of stock within the business and other sundry team tasks.
Key accountabilities
- Assisting with the preparation of the monthly trading accounts
- To evaluate, analyse and post stocktakes from branches
- To run the week end and month end processes and reports.
- Assist branch and area colleagues with stock and trading account queries.
- To run weekly stock integrations into the finance system
- To make and review stock journal entries into the finance system
- Prepare and send out Trader packs and Management Account packs
- Assist with basic administration duties
- Any ad hoc jobs as and when necessary
Good Excel skills
Basic accounting knowledge of double entry
Able to use initiative and work without close supervision.
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to prioritise tasks
Customer focussed approach
This is an excellent role for someone looking to develop their skills within finance.
