**About the Role**

We are looking to recruit two sales assistants on a casual basis to support our Reuse Shop at Keynsham Recycling Centre.

Positioned at the entrance to our public Recycling Centre in Keynsham, the shop is open Tuesday to Saturday’s and sells donated second hand reusable items at affordable prices, along with working with local charities and council services to divert items of use where most needed.

The Sales Assistants will be offered around 1 or 2 shifts per week to support the existing staff rota and offer extra cover.

This is a varied role for which you will need to be physically fit.

The shop receives a lot of furniture and bric-a-brac items daily which need to be checked if fit for purpose for reuse and moved on into the shop or placed in containers for onward recycling and disposal.

We are looking for people who are passionate about reuse and salvaging items. Our main aim is to ensure nothing is needlessly wasted

Confident at approaching and speaking to members of the public, you’ll also help customers find items, support them to make card payments and help to keep our shop clean and fully stocked.
