**Regional Operations Manager**

Our client is one of the UKs leading landscaping, vegetation / highway maintenance and fencing contractors with offices throughout the UK.

The position will effectively deliver a portfolio of landscaping / fencing / arboricultural / environmental and ecological contracts to agreed programmes, specifications and budgets. To manage and develop client relationships with overall responsibilityfor profitability and cost capture for all contracts.

The Regional Operations Manager will be a key member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and be involved with the overall strategic planning, implementation and overseeing of developments with the Company structure. Responsible for monthly regional reportsand overviews for presentation at the SMT meeting.

A proactive and forthright approach is required to organise, motivate, develop and lead managers to ensure a safe, compliant and high-quality service is always delivered. In addition, the Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring contracts areprofitable and the Company is getting best value for money from key suppliers. They should ensure competence levels of direct and subcontract teams are appropriate for the works and are kept up to date. Understanding company policies and procedures and ensuringthese are always being adhered to.

**Regional Operations Manager - Qualifications & Experience**
- Multi-site operational management and leadership skills gained within the soft landscaping, arboriculture, highway maintenance, fencing and vegetation management / vegetation maintenance sector.
- Extensive Commercial insight and knowledge of NEC contracts.
- Relevant Health & Safety knowledge, including CDM regulations and risk management.
- Black CSCS card (LISS / FISS)
- Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to network.
- Decisive problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to motivate others with excellent teamworking and people management skills.
- In depth knowledge of relevant industry developments and regulations.
- Competent with Microsoft office products and Commercial Management Software.
