Are you an experienced Buyer/Senior Buyer/Category Buyer looking for work?

The business, a global market leading FTSE 250 manufacturing business and are looking to add a new buyer to the business. You will work within the Global Purchasing team and take overall responsibility for a particular category.

In your role as a Category Buyer you shall be a key team member and assist the overall purchasing function which is on a journey of transformation with the aim of being an industry leader within purchasing and supply chain.

This is a Hybrid role requiring you to work 3 days per week out of their office based in North Oxfordshire. The company offer a with a good overall benefits package including a salary Circa £45k.

**Key Responsibilities as the Category Buyer**
- Deliver an OTIF service to your customers by fully understanding your commodity and your suppliers and working with them to ensure a cost effective, high level of service is achieved.
- Identify potential new suppliers through market research, ascertain their suitability to fit the global supplier base.
- Management of your suppliers, ensure that contractual terms are up to date and deliver the best service possible.
