We are looking for Event Delivery Assistants to join our Convention Centre team on a casual basis.

**The role**

As our Events Delivery Assistant you will play a critical role in the smooth operational delivery of events at Harrogate Convention Centre.

As a member of the Events Planning and Delivery team you are responsible for the set up, supervision and take down of all event related activity within HCC, ensuring Health & Safety procedures and legislation is being adhered to at all times by yourself and others while delivering the highest standards of customer care and satisfaction for all users of the venue.

**What you will bring**

You will have experience working in a fast-paced events environment where no two days are the same, meeting and greeting customers and handling queries with a proactive attitude.

You will have a reasonable level of fitness to build and take down events, including setting up furniture and walking around the venue for prolonged periods of time.

You will be accustomed to working on live events and responding to changing situations and you will take a proactive role in controlling health and safety. As well as this you will have the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team, prioritising workloads as required.
