Job overview
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Band 2 Health Care Assistant to work within the Unplanned District Nursing Team working nights. You will work within the Unplanned District Nursing team visiting patients within their own home supporting community Nurses to carry out unplanned nursing care. The base for this post will be Global House, Scunthorpe. You must be flexible, caring, and professional and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Access to a vehicle with business insurance is essential for this community-based role.
At NLaG we do not require you to have any formal qualifications as you will be supported to achieve these once in post. What we require is enthusiasm to learn, a desire to help safely care for our patients and that you align with our values of Kindness, Courage and Respect.
Our Healthcare Assistant (HCA) roles are focused on ensuring that high quality patient centred care is delivered in a safe clinical environment.
We are committed to developing our staff through training and education, supporting you to learn new skills. We have a dedicated Practice Development team focused on ensuring our staff have the right skills to care for our patients, this includes a weeklong induction for new starters where clinical skills are taught and practiced preparing you for your new role.
