CNC Machinist

A leading UK Crane and Material Handling Company is looking to recruit a CNC Machinist to be an integral part of the business due to a recent expansion of the business. This position will be based at our site in Hawarden, Chester.

**Responsibilities**:

- The CNC Machinist will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
- Loading and Unloading Machining fixtures
- Setting of Three Axis Machining centre and lathe machine.
- Using measuring equipment such as micrometres, Vernier's, plug gauges, screw gauges, ring gauges
- Carrying out regular Maintenance and Cleaning of Machines and Tools.
- Good understanding of CNC Programming
- A good understanding of drawings and geometric tolerances
- Good understanding of component drawings
- Hurco experience preferred but not essential
- Carry out all work practices in line with the Company Health and Safety Policy.

**Minimum Educational Qualifications**:

- Prior experience using an CNC Machine *Essential
- Experience of working to ISO9001 or AS/EN9100 quality approvals *Desirable
- Or equivalencies

**Job Types**: Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
