Social Media and Content Assistant

We are now looking for a **Social Media and Content Assistant**to join our award winning Marketing Team.

**Who we’re looking for**

**Overall purpose**: Work closely with the Senior Creative Executive, Partnerships Manager, Senior Campaigns Executive and the wider marketing team to deliver the Biscuiteers marketing strategy. As part of the brand team, you will be responsible for helping to maximise the performance of our social channels, increasing brand awareness and reach and nurturing our audience. You will also be partially responsible for creating content that can be used across multiple channels to fulfil our ambitious content marketing plans and meet our channel targets

Reporting into our **Senior Social Media Executive**, responsibilities will include:

- Execute a best in class social calendar based on wider brand objectives, marketing activity and relevant consumer moments
- Scheduling content and writing engaging copy for social posts that has the Biscuiteers brand voice
- Day to day management of our social media channels, including replying to comments and DMs and engaging with followers, with the overall aim to grow our following and brand reach and fulfil the business’ social media strategy
- Promoting positive brand sentiment in line with brand personality and tone of voice by engaging in relevant conversations within the social eco-system
- Tracking UGC and sharing with relevant team members to support our campaign
- Weekly and monthly analysis and reporting
- Conducting competitor research and staying abreast of immerging trends
- Support on producing engaging, shareable content for use across our channels, working with the Content team (blog and creative content) to align with the overall marketing objectives
- Supporting and feeding into how content is best adapted and served across our different channels to maximise its impact
- Supporting with influencer and press events and capturing creative content and video content
- Supporting on brand partnerships and social competitions to capture the relevant content that can be used across shared channels that meets our brand objectives

**You will need**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple channels.
- A good understanding of the Social Media landscape and nuances between platforms.
- Comfortable with managing and scheduling content.
