**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Assist in the planning of menus and daily specials, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and kitchen procedures.

**Skills**
- Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations within a restaurant setting.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A team player who can communicate effectively with colleagues in a busy kitchen environment.
- Passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that satisfy customers' needs.

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
