Domestic Assistant

Job Introduction

As a **Domestic Assistant **at Sodexo **Hereford County Hospital**, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic environment within the hospital. You will play a key role in preventing the spread of infection and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our patients, staff, and visitors. Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. **What you’ll do**:

- Maintain patient safety by keeping their rooms, wards, communal areas, restrooms, and other hospital areas clean.
- Strip and clean beds and collect linen
- Clean desks, ceilings and vents, walls, blinds, and other surfaces to create a sterile, safe environment.
- Dust, mop, vacuum, sweep, polish floors, and replenish supplies
- Emptying bins and waste containers
- Actively champion a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff

Package Description
**Please note this is a 6 month fixed term contract**
- **15** hours per week
- **Working**: Monday to Friday 5.00pm - 8.00pm
- **£10.42 **per hour
