Warehouse Assistant

Joining our friendly and hardworking team as a **Warehouse Assistant**, you'll be on the front line dealing with orders, deliveries and stock coming in and out of the business. As part of the branch team, you will play a vital role in our continued success, providing a first class service.

What will I be doing?_**

You’ll be based in our Warehouse, not one day is the same here at CCF, here are a few pointers:

- Our success is built on strong relationships with our customers so it’s essential that you can help deliver the highest standards of service - the key thing is to be helpful and friendly at all times, you will likely get to know our customers on a first name basis.
- You will be based in our Warehouse, processing our customer orders, loading and unloading customer and company vehicles.
- Getting stock ready to be collected and delivered.
- Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, your aim will be to ensure that our standards never slip, this means maintaining a tidy and safe working environment.
- Training to drive a counterbalance truck will be given.

My name is Natalie, and I currently work as part of the recruitment team here at Travis Perkins, but I started of my career in my local branch when I was 18 completing a development programme, which I then became a Branch Supervisor Let me tell you more about us, and why you should consider a career with our brilliant business.

For this role you will be joining the team in CCF East Birmingham. This is a well established team of 16 and a competitive branch where they deal with a lot of customers in a day. Joining this team you will be placed in a fast paced environment and will be at the forefront of our business with this customer facing role. Lisa, the branch manager, has led the team from strength to strength, so he is looking for someone who can be the missing piece to their team. With 6 lorries and a team of 4 in the warehouse, they strive to make sure their service is the best in town. With a lot of local competition we are looking for somebody who can bring enthusiasm and drive to our warehouse team to make the branch complete. With our very close knit team and loyal customer base this would be the perfect opportunity for someone to get their foot in the door. Experience is not necessary if you have the right attitude towards our branch culture and safety
