**Job Title: Jewellery Maker and Packer**
**Company Overview**:Byzantium Collection is a family-run affordable jewellery brand founded in 1991 by husband and wife duo Paula and Ahmet. The brand has grown over the decades and is now available in gift shops, garden centres and other retail outlets across the UK, as well as delivering directly to consumers through our online retail store. Our London based office and warehouse is home to a small tight-knit team, working together closely and efficiently to deliver the best quality jewellery and customer experience possible.
**Location**: Ealing Broadway, West London (2 minutes walk from the station). The role is based in our office/mini-warehouse 5 days per week.
**Job Type**: Full-time and permanent (with an initial 3 month probationary period).
**Salary**: £25,200 per annum.
**Hours**: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (including a 30 minute lunch break).
**Job Overview**:We are looking for a hardworking and efficient Jewellery Maker and Packer to join our small, hardworking team. In this role you will be responsible for picking and packing orders with precision in our mini-warehouse/office, as well as undertaking simple making and assembling of jewellery using small crystals and other delicate components.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Order Pick & Packing**: Carefully and efficiently pick and pack orders to ensure orders are accurate, well packed to retain quality and reach our customers in a timely manner.
- **Jewellery Making**: Simple assembly of jewellery using small crystals and other intricate components (basic training to be provided).
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with a small, efficient team to meet production goals and maintain a positive friendly atmosphere in the office.
**Essential Requirements**:
- **Fine Handiwork**: No previous jewellery making experience required, but an ability to work with small parts and perform simple delicate jewellery making tasks is key.
- **Attention to Detail**: Precision and care in picking and packing orders.
- **Speed and Efficiency**: Ability to work quickly in a busy environment without compromising quality.
- **Physically Capable**: No heavy lifting is involved, but you need to be comfortable with standing, walking and some light carrying of boxes with ease.
- **Language**: Proficiency in English is required.
- **Collaborative & Taking Initiative**: Able to work well with a team and communicate effectively to flag any issues, low stock or questions.
