**The role**

Join our team as a Fencing Operative to carry out day to day repairs and maintenance to our clients’ homes making our empty homes ready to let to new customers.

We're looking for someone eager and committed to doing a great job while delivering an excellent service to our customers.

**Responsibilities**
- Proficient in carrying out fencing works and utilising a full skill range
- Experienced in fencing installations and repairs, covering chain-link, close-board, picket, palisade, and simple joinery tasks
- Inspect existing fences for stability, wear, and damage, and recommend necessary repairs
- Familiarity with working in social housing or domestic properties
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and safe practices
- Proven experience in working in occupied homes
- Proficient in measuring and accurately estimating works timescales
- Expert at identifying, quantifying, and sourcing required materials
- Ensure precise alignment and proper fence height
- Set posts, secure panels, and assemble gates with skill
- Competent in CAT scanning and interpreting service drawings
- Effective workload management and time management
- Skilled in maintaining and replenishing vehicle stock

**What we need**

For this role you’ll have the following:

- Proficiency with industry best practice to an intermediate/advanced level ensuring the highest and safest standards
- A thorough knowledge of Health & Safety practices
- Experience of working in occupied homes with excellent levels of service
- A current valid driving license
- A basic DBS check will be required for this role
