We're looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to work for our client, an innovative global industry leader and food tech pioneer. You would work on a mobile basis covering Tewkesbury and the surrounding area.
This is a full-time permanent role as part of the Technical Team, salary £26,562 plus excellent benefits including life assurance of 2x yearly salary, access to professional qualifications, development opportunities available and clearly mapped career paths.A comfortable van/car is provided, with no commuting costs to and from work (you take the van/car home with you).
You would play a key role as part of a high performing, client focused Technical team, providing high quality service to all customer and actively contributing to the overall improvements to the business by servicing and maintaining equipment to a high standard.
**The Role**
As Field Service Engineer, you would be tasked with ensuring a range of traditional coffee, hot/ cold beverages and vending machines are working and maintained effectively by providing a high standard of on-site support. You will be supporting some of the world'sleading and best-known coffee and food brands, so interacting with customers and presenting a positive image of the company and its products is essential. In addition, you will:

- Carry out emergency repairs to machines, carrying out 'component level' electrical / mechanical repairs
- Carry out preventative maintenance on machines in your own geographical patch and beyond
- Fully install and commission all vending equipment within the product range
- Managing a parts car stock effectively to minimise costs
- Electrical knowledge, demonstrated through practical work experience or an electrical qualification
- Technical background with strong fault finding and diagnosis skills
- Knowledge of basic food hygiene and water regulations beneficial but not essential
- Customer-focussed with a smart and professional appearance
- A full UK driving licence with at least 12 months driving experience and no more than 6 points is essential
