Mackie’s of Scotland produces the nation’s favourite award-winning ice cream and chocolate from the family farm in Aberdeenshire. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join our office-based team on a full time, permanent basis based at Westertown, Rothienorman. As part of the growing Mackie’s success story, you will support the sales team as a central point of contact for Mackie’s retail and food service customers. This varied and busy role includes managing trade orders, from receipt of purchase order through to delivery, servicing large retail and foodservice operators, both within the UK and abroad.

**Responsibilities & Duties**

The key responsibilities of this role include:

- Playing a pivotal role in communication between Mackie’s and their customers, along with third party logistics providers and distribution centres
- Processing of orders, ensuring they are delivered on time and in full
- Managing warehouse stock levels for all our products and undertake regular stock takes / stock rotation
- Working closely with the production team to ensure stock availability which will include daily monitoring of stock levels and advising changes as required along with in-depth forecast reporting
- Undertaking further sales reporting on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis for both internal and external use
- Processing sales leads and manage customer enquiries
- Submitting new line forms and promotional forms through customer portals
- Other general admin duties as required including answering phones and managing mail

**Qualifications & Skills**

As a key touchpoint for our customers, you should be practical and solutions focused, comfortable working on your own initiative, and be able to demonstrate a passion for delivering a quality of service as award winning as our products.

You must have an aptitude for accuracy and strong numerical skills along with a working knowledge of various Microsoft packages. Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.

**Salary & Benefits**

Package includes a competitive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum, dependent on experience, a full time permanent contract of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, and generous staff benefits including profit related pay and private health cover.
