**Commercial Executive**

We are recruiting for a Commercial Executive to be responsible for owning Pricing & Promotional submissions for our Foreign & Own Brand, reviewing promotional effectiveness, liasing with suppliers to secure incremental promotions/deals, managing to agreed targets/thresholds for promotions to ensure no oversell as well as ensuring all promotions are margin accretive and driving clear sales objectives.

This is an agile role where you be expected to attend the Burton on Trent office a couple of days a week.

**Key **responsibilities**
- Ownership & delivery of the annual promotion calendar and budget for the on trade channel for Foreign Brands
- Tracking & Reporting of Promotional Effectiveness on a bi monthly basis providing insight & recommendations for the next campaign
- Improving Promotional planning & process to drive efficiency
- Support business in launching new promotional mechanics & ensuring systems have capability to deliver against these through influencing multiple stakeholders across dept in Greene King & Belhaven
- Co-ordination with Digital team to ensure promotions are loaded and run otif
- Collaborate with the Commercial Manager to ensure we are driving a profitable category and brand mix for the UK On Trade
- Gather Best Practice from the UK Market for Price & Promotion and review our competitiveness against this
- Support Commercial Manager on Category Range Recommendations through data analysis & insight
- Support Supply Chain as S&OP process development occurs ensuring minimising write offs & NPD is launched in a professional and collaborative way
- Ownership of reporting against joint business plan performance in collaboration with Finance Team

**About you..**
- Significant experience and competency in Excel and Data analysis & Insight with the ability to link findings to clear business recommendations/actions
- Demonstrable experience of planning & delivering promotional plans & calendars
- Solid project management skills; key liaison with internal stakeholders to ensure projects are launched on time in full
- Strong influencing/negotiation skills both internally & externally
- Motivated Self Starter and ability to work alone
- An understanding of the UK On Trade including Free trade would be highly advantageous
