We’re looking for a skilled video editor to join our company, who will be responsible for working in both short and long formats, taking footage and editing it based on the Digital Publishing team and Marketing team’s specifications and guidelines.

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Editing videos to targeted length and specifications
- Handling and organising raw and edited video files
- Exporting videos and facilitating mobile and web distribution
- Adjusting formats and file sizes as needed
- Editing short and long-form videos for Oxford Global’s content platform
- Ensuring videos meet the digital publishing team and marketing team’s specifications and guidelines
- Consulting with the digital publishers on production to post-production process
- Reporting back to the Marketing Director and Director of Editorial & Event Content on progress

**We are looking for someone with**:

- Familiarity with video editing software like Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong skills in time management & attention to detail
- Ability to pick out attention-grabbing shots
- Excellent storytelling skills
- Knowledge of basic editing principles
- Experience with working with poor quality video content
- Experience with working with video content from Vimeo, Teams, Zoom etc

**More about the role**:

- _Competitive Salary_: £35,000-£40,000 per annum
- _Location_: All our roles are hybrid (a mix of remote and in office). Our offices are located on the Botley Road in Oxford, with shops/restaurants within walking distance and easy access into Oxford City Centre.
