Pure are currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger Clerk for a versatile and dynamic business based on the outskirts Ipswich.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has gained a good understanding of the sales ledger or for someone at the early stages of their Finance career studying towards AAT.
This position will be dealing with large volumes of invoices so attention to detail is key.
Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure that the VAT has been included on invoices at the correct rates.
- To assist the credit controller with chasing debtors and solving sales ledger queries
- To assist with sending out month end sales statements.
- To assist with sending out new customer forms, credit checks and setting up new customers and suppliers in the accounts system.
- Run off turnover statements when requested
- To assist with the production of the month end accruals and prepayments.
- Assist with the posting and reconciling bank accounts.
- To assist with the upload and month end reconciliation.
