Our HNW private family is looking for an experienced live-in /out housekeeper/cook for their family home located in **Thames-Side Court, Lower Shiplake, Oxfordshire**. This is a family of (6) with (2) dogs; (4) children, (1) at university, (2) at boarding school, so only the youngest is currently at home on a daily basis. The family home is a (10) bedroom riverside property, split over 3 floors. Currently the family have a full-time housekeeper and caretaker. Seeing as this is a large house the family require an extra pair of willing and flexible hands and someone who can prepare and cook fresh healthy family style meals. As the housekeeper/cook you will be part of the team, (but not in charge), so a team player is key to this role. You will possess, a good eye for detail, be of a pleasant disposition, looking for a long term role where you can share your experience gained so far. **This role can be live-in or live-out,** should you choose to live-in your accommodation would be a ground floor one bedroom flat; consisting of kitchen/sitting/dining room, addressing room and bathroom. (ideally suited for a single person). You must be a driver; a pool car is available only for work purposes, so you will have your own car for day to day personal use. **Essential;** " Happy to be part of the existing team " Be a team player " Reliable " Proactive and organised " Happy to wear a uniform This is a non-formal household so you just need to be energetic, willing, flexible and friendly. **Duties include**: " All required housekeeping to a very high standard " Cleaning and housekeeping upkeep of the house's interiors to a high standard. " Performing all laundry functions. " Preparing heathy meals and snacks for the principle(s)/family. " Management of, and shopping for, all household supplies and provisioning of food and beverage supplies. " On-line shopping when required. " Accepting and managing deliveries and post. **Working schedule**: five days per week on a rota system, be on duty at weekends when required. **Working Hours**: around (9) hours per day (will vary slightly with the cooking requirements) **Salary**: (around) £40,000 gross per year Unless otherwise specified a minimum of 3 - 5 years relevant experience is required to receive the advertised rate of pay.
