Service Desk Officer - Andover - £27,000 - £29,000 - onsite
We are looking for an experienced Service Desk Officer to join an experienced, lively and dynamic IT Shared Services team in the public sector. You’ll be required to provide day-to-day support and be a point of contact between the end users and IT.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has 1st Line support experience and is now ready to move up to a more senior position where they would be able to mentor the more junior member of staff. The company also offers great training opportunities to ensure career development for the person coming into this role.
Skills and experience required:
- Experience in IT support preferably 1st/2nd line role.
- Understanding of the Microsoft productivity Suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive etc.)
- Excellent and effective communication skills with different stakeholders in person and on the phone.
- The desire to learn, adapt and support new technologies to improve service delivery.
- The ability to work as part of a team to support IT users and resolve incidents.
