**The role**

We are currently looking for a People Business Partner for our Head Office functions. This role will be reporting to the People Director and will be the most senior Head Office HR role within the business. You will be partnering with the senior leadershipteam within the Passenger, Freight, COO, Business CoE teams to help them achieve their goals and targets through strategic HR advice.

This is a fully rounded People role that will encompass work across talent management, succession planning, capability development, organisational design, workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, leadership development and creatinga high
- performance culture. You will work alongside the rest of the People team who will be supporting you through expertise in talent acquisition, service delivery, systems management and leaning and development.

This role will require you to deal and influence the senior leadership and board level team. You will be working with the local union making sure that any contractual changes are fully communicated and consulted. This is a strategic role that will requireyou to provide long term people development and support to allow the business and our people to fully realise their potential.

**You will be working part of the week from home and part of the week from our head office location in Dover.**

**The person**

So who are we looking for?
- Previous experience of working as a People/ HR Business Partner in a head office environment
- The ability to delegate and take responsibility for their workload to make sure strategic goals are being delivered
- A strong commercial focus with an innate understanding of P&L
- Fantastic verbal and written communications skills
- Confident when dealing with change and ambiguity
- Experience of working with and influencing senior leadership teams.
