Sellick Parnershup are recruiting for a Business Intelligence Analyst to use their skills and experience to develop and own the development of an evolving data environment. You will be responsible for delivering business intelligence and reporting. Workingwith external consultants, internal teams, and wider stakeholders you will develop and manage reporting functionality to inform business decisioning and contractual requirements.

Day to day duties for the Busienss Intelligence Analyst include:

- Lead the use of business intelligence and will have a thorough understanding of the underlying data that can be used to perform data analytics.
- Producing and analysing management information in accordance with the performance management framework, contractual targets, and other operational requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and manage business critical data capturing and reporting systems and processes, together with user documentation, in line with the performance management framework, contractual commitments and stakeholder requirements.
- Production of accurate and well-presented dashboards that enable performance review and the identification of trends, issues, and opportunities.
- Communicate with Managers and Service Heads to determine their management information data requirements and the timescales for the supply of any identified data
- Provide solutions to identified technical issues which improve reporting performance
- Lead the development and design of new business intelligence reports. Help to ensure that these comply with relevant business processes and operational systems
- Champion self-service and data discovery through workshops and events
- Maintain and manage business critical data and reporting systems and contribute to CRM processes, adhering to both quality management (ISO9001) and information security (ISO27001)

About you:

- Soumd understanding of information technology and management information systems
- Experience of working with colleagues to understand their requirements and deliver appropriate management information reports.
- Analytical; able to critically evaluate data and information leading to informed decision-making
- Expertise in database programming - query optimization and report performance tuning.
- Experience in using large datasets, data manipulation and modelling, analysing and visualising data
- Working cross-functionally with all management levels
- Have the ability to produce detailed reports for review at senior management and board level

Skills Required:

- Working knowledge of SQL, Azure data analytics including Synapse, ADF (Data Factory), Object storage, Logic Apps and serverless technology
- Proficiency in visualisation tools such as Microsoft PowerBI (minimum 2 years)
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management database systems
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, proactively taking ownership of critical incidents
- Advanced MS Excel user including graphs, formulas, dashboards, pivot table, VBA, and Power Query
- Knowledge of Azure machine learning services and data science would be desirable
