**Place UK are currently recruiting for a new and exciting role as a Transport Administrator. The purpose of the role is to support with the effective run of the Transport department, ensuring that cold stores and dry stores are kept to an excellent standard and that customer service is maintained at an excellent level.**

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to further develop their administration skills and gain experience working within a transport and warehouse environment. Due to a rural site location your own vehichle will be required.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Consult with Transport Manager and Transport Supervisor and effectively manage, prioritize, and delegate daily logistics tasks and responsibilities
- Assist Transport Manager with various reports and collect data
- Liaise with Procurement team and Planning Manager to ensure all Sales Orders and Purchase Orders are accurate and sent to the Transport department on time
- Planning of efficient and cost-effective delivery routes and regularly update as necessary
- Ensuring all goods are despatched correctly in line with business requirements and all relevant paperwork is completed
- Training will be provided for Counterbalance and MHE use in line with all the Transport team
- Assisting with stock checks and monitor stock level to ensure availability of raw material as required
- Ensure stock rotation is being carried out in conjunction with management team

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30pm - 5.00pm
