Founded in 1990, Qualitex are a family run and family-owned business, headquartered in Aylesford, Kent. We are a National Distributor of bathroom products, looking for a highly motivated **Operations Manager** to head up the Operations Department at our Aylesford depot.

We are looking for a like-minded individual who wants to grow, feel part of our growth strategy and drive success and innovation within the operation of the business.

The role encompasses warehouse management, transport management and health and safety management, with direct responsibility - through an existing management team - for over 30 staff.

As part of the Senior Management team, you will have direct interaction with the Directors of the Business, with all operational performance being presented and discussed quarterly.

**Key duties and responsibilities**:

- Key decisions on daily matters.
- Management and organisation of warehouse and driving staff.
- Recruitment within warehouse and driving teams.
- KPI production and analysis.
- Health & Safety.
- Overseeing of vehicle maintenance and Operators licence.
- Key Holder and alarm maintenance.
- Attendance monitoring.
- Disciplinary Matters (for Operations departments).

**About You**:

- Confident in making decisions within a fast-paced environment.
- Prepared to manage within an environment containing many different personalities.
- Able to interact with the Directors and Owners of the Business to make key decisions to improve the performance of the business.

Experience in a number of the aspects of the role is preferred, but training can be offered in any areas that may have not previously been covered.

**Working Hours**:
8am - 6pm (Monday to Friday)
