Delighted to be working with a leading supplier of solutions into the FMCG & Pharma markets across the UK & Ireland to recruit for their new Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordinator
This is an office-based role, working within the procurement team Monday to Friday (830-530) where you will;
- Negotiating costs, ranges and supply in defined product areas as part of an overall Procurement Team to ensure appropriate and cost-effective solutions
- Communicating and negotiating with a range of existing and new suppliers and manufacturers on a daily basis including building and maintaining relationships
- Manage stock levels in line with customer forecasts
- Ensure that accurate records are maintained and are up to date
- Dealing with difficult or unexpected situations in a professional manner
- Working as part of a busy professional team to ensure that we are able to offer excellent customer service through the availability of the optimum product range
**About you**
- Experienced in a similar role
- Confident supplier relationship experience
- Strong IT skills
