Joinery / Carpentry Solidworks Draughtsman

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
Take instructions from Design Manager / Directors.

To develop client Design drawings into Approval Shop Drawings.

Take on board Client comments and update drawings to construction and site dimensions.

Export Construction drawings to cutting lists / CNC layouts.

Working to and look to better Tender allowances by design.

Experience in manufacturing methods and adapt to the way we work.

Understand material capabilities, sheet sizes and modern fixing methods.

Mindful of H&S regarding weights and Site access constraints.

Allow for site conditions and build in tolerances to the drawings.

Coordinate other trades such as M&E.

Experience in Metalwork, Glass, Fabric, Stone.

Build and maintain SolidWorks library.

Be methodical in the way you work and keep shared systems clean and updated.

Work with a motivated team, willing to work extra when workload dictates.

Work to deadlines and keep the team updated.

**Skills**
Joinery based experience Essential
- Proficient in:

- SolidWorks
- SolidWorks - SWOOD Design (Preferable but can be trained)
- AutoCAD LT (Again Preferable but not essential)
- Other standard software. Outlook. Teams. Excel. Word.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £37,500.00-£55,000.00 per year
