**Job Summary**

This position requires initiative, enthusiasm, physical stamina, excellent attention to detail when working quickly, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. Additional training relevant to the role will be provided, where necessary.

**Duties**
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
- Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Utilise machinery safely for moving products and pallets within the warehouse.
- Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks as required.
- Engage in picking and packing orders accurately and timely for dispatch.
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels within agreed timescales.
- Ensure our stock rotation policy is adhered to.
- Maintain the goods return quarantine area.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space to promote safety and efficiency.
- Complete stock checks as required.
- Keep up to date and follow the company's policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers and visitors.
- Any other relevant tasks deemed necessary by the Operations Manager.

**Skills**
- Possession of a valid UK Driving licence is essential.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes within a warehouse environment would be beneficial.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage stock effectively and maintain order accuracy.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as part of daily duties.
- Strong skills in materials handling, ensuring safe movement of products.
- Experience operating reach trucks is advantageous; relevant certifications are required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From £12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week

Additional pay:

- Performance bonus
