**Job Details**
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Suffolk County Council in the HR Recruitment Team as a Recruitment Advisor for our Early Careers programmes.
As a Recruitment Advisor for Early Careers you will support the wider team to deliver work programmes incorporating:
- Apprenticeships
- Our internal programme for care experienced young people
- Graduates
- Interns
- Work experience (including T-Levels).
You will play an important role in taking a lead in the operational delivery of these programmes by working with training providers, managers and other partners to make sure they are effective and have a real impact.
You will also get involved with the development and running of selection processes and assessment centres in relation to early careers programmes such as the Graduate, Internship and Care Leaver apprenticeship programmes.

**Your role and responsibilities**
- provide support to managers and individuals participating in our early careers programmes
- create and maintain engaging content for our websites and internal communications
- participate in procurement processes for learning providers, taking the lead for the system led side of the process using our dynamic purchasing system and supporting contract management administration
- provide professional advice, being a main point of contact for enquiries and requests for information in relation to the early careers programmes
- manage the organisations online apprenticeship levy account including ensuring processes are in place for accurate inputting and monitoring, running reports, tracking payments and forecasting spend of the apprenticeship levy
- represent the organisation at events or with external groups.
**You will need**
- excellent communication skills in order to be able to support a range of colleagues and stakeholders
- strong organisational skills and the ability to plan and prioritise work to achieve deadlines
- a passion for excellent customer service, thriving on supporting colleagues and customers and being the “resident expert” across a range of systems and processes
- strong IT skills including excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- a strong desire to continuously improve, taking the initiative to learn and develop.
**The team**
Positioned within the wider HR, Performance and Change service, the Recruitment team delivers the following:
- early careers programmes
- recruitment and job evaluation services.
You will report to the Recruitment Partner - Early Careers, and will work closely with other colleagues within the team to deliver effective services and significant and ambitious pieces of work supporting the organisations wider aims and priorities.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside other colleagues in our HR service and across our organisation, as well as with colleagues in partner organisations who collaborate on some of our programmes.
